x-3dfx.com now has buddypress up and running allowing x-3dfx.com registered users socialise between each other through the website (facebook / twitter like)
I will be looking at expanding the features of the website in the upcoming weeks / months.
Since this is a new site, there could be some things that are not working…. Any problems please comment on to this post and I will look in to them

I tried to delete my account and create anew one, but it seems I can’t even delete my account heh, seems like a serious issue I guess.
On the other hand it’s the first website I have been in to where I can’t uses spaces in my name, wiierd that I can post with it so maybe it could be something else

Ok I’ll mess with your account now, and it’s the username (like Twitter) which needs to be one word to work with buddypress (so that you have and @something name – spaces not allowed!)
There is an option for a real name to show which can have spaces though.
I’ll delete your account now if you want?

Hmm I suppose avatars only function on the main page? mine does not work in the forums yet though heh, unless you disabled that feature for the time being
Understandable, since there are some other things that could have the uppoer hand hehe.

Yes I’m looking in to why the avatars are not working on the forums, it should as I have turned them on! – but I’m guessing the theme that I use doesn’t support it, I’ll get them going though. Just takes time to find out what’s going on.

yeah it’s not much of an issue, ifit’s too difficult I’d say keep the avatars for the main page and the forums avatarless just for the time being
but yeah would be nice to et this working eventually, just don’t ruch things mate, it’s wise to take your time with such things hehe but you’ll manage, I’m quite sure about that
